Ph.D Overview

Preamble

The Ph.D. program was initiated at Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) in 2008 adapting the UGC regulations. The regulations governing the Ph.D. program at Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) have been amended from time to time in accordance with the gazetted amendements of the UGC.  The Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) calls for applications for enrollment of candidates for the Ph.D. program twice a year, July session and January session.

Vision

To inspire and nuture the Ph.D. scholars to become independent researchers.

Mission

The mission of the Ph.D. program is to empower the Ph.D. scholars by educating them on the fundamental concepts of research, biosafety, scientific writing, and research and publication ethics, which will make them independent researchers

Objectives

• To extend support to the Ph.D. scholars by conducting workshops research related topics.
• To conduct half yearly review by the Doctoral Advisory committee to assess the progress of the Ph.D. Scholars
