Report of World AIDS Day 2023

Red Ribbon club in collaboration with Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, Gender Sensitization Cell, Department of Community Health Nursing and Youth Red Cross, Yenepoya Nursing College organized World AIDS Day awareness camp from 20th November to 22nd November 2023 at Spandana Trust Mangaluru on "Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infection" and 750 people benefited of it. Plucard competition was held on 27th November and 6 groups students participated. Intercollegiate Quiz competion was held on 28th November and 18 groups of students all over Mangaluru participated. Mime competition was held on 29th November and 8 teams participated. Poster competion was held on 30th November and 24 groups of students were participated. On 1st December in collaboration with District AIDS Control & Prevention Unit conducted AIDS Day Walkathon from Aloysius college to SDM college Mangaluru at 7am to 8.30am and 45 students of Red Ribbon Club and 4 faculty were participated in rally, followed by there was AIDS Day Program in Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences at 10am to 12pm. Ms. Daisy Dsouza, Program Officer, Red Ribbon Club, Yenepoya Nursing College received falicitation.
