To generate new knowledge towards national development through quality research with highest standards. Within a decade, it has attracted scientists and scholars from across the country for carrying out cutting edge research in various disciplines.
 
At a time when India is laying impetus on medical research on a large scale and government promoting research activities in academia, Yenepoya Research Centre is all set to complete a decade in quality research activities thereby setting a benchmark in the field of research. Over the years, YRC has also taken initiatives to promote collaborative research works with other institutions. The growth of this centre was possible by the vision and constant support provided by the management and administration.
 
The centre offers research support and training at undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and postdoctoral levels. Apart from it YRC is actively conducting orientation courses, training programmes and workshops in emerging areas. The centre has set up sophisticated facilities for carrying out research in the thrust areas e.g. molecular biology, stem cell and regenerative medicine, proteomics, bioinformatics, nanoscience, biotechnology etc. The leadership of the centre has a strong belief in promoting research with high translational value. For pursuing high-quality research the centre provides an ambient and conducive environment to the faculty and scholars. The state-of-the-art research labs and well-trained faculty at YRC have attracted students from across the country to pursue research.
